We welcome volunteers most days of the week (except Sat. mornings, since we’re mostly at farmers´ markets then) and also year-round.  There is always something to do on a farm in all types of weather. Please contact us ahead of time, so someone is around to show you what to do or where to go.  Our work day is usually 7 AM until 5:30 PM, so you can come anytime between those hours, and we even will feed you a home-cooked lunch!  If you only can come after work in the evening, we also have tasks for you to help with independently (such as, weeding), or maybe Richard and Deb will rope you into one of their many evening tasks outside, but our farm crew will be done for the day.

Be prepared to get dirty and sink your fingers in the dirt!  You can bring your own rain gear, boots, gloves, and sun hat, but we do have extras that we can piece together for you. Check the weather, so you know what to wear.  No need for any tools; just yourself!

Our Packing Days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Those are days when we are finalizing harvest and packing up boxes, so we can always use volunteers especially on those days usually anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Group volunteers can also be put to work, whether you are from an organization, a team-building work place, a school for community service hours, or a Master Gardener seeking experiential hours.  We have something for everyone!
